Goals : 1. To seek ways to improve the quality of water in Lake Andes by restoring the watershed and removing mutrients from the lake. **a. Work with government agencies and land owners to promote upstream watershed practices **b. Remove lake sediment **c. Promote public awareness of the watershed's effect upon lake 2. To investigate methods of obtaining stable water supplies to restore lake water levels **a. Increase run-off collection **b. Increase water diversion **c. Seek other alternative sources of water such as artesian wells, irrigation canals, and pumping water 3. To promote the use of the lake for benefit of wildlife, recreation, and the local ecomomy. **a. Park Avenue Project **b. Remove debris around the lake **c. Improve habitat for game fish, waterfowl, and other wildlife
