Ice Fishing Tournament held January 29, 2011 - What a great day! The weather cooperated to our surprise. Pat Leitheiser did a fantastic job!!! It was great to see such enthusiasm on our Board. The numbers were not what we had hoped, but we did good. Had 40 entries at $20.00 per entry = $800.00 less $400.00 in expense so we profited $400.00. Emily Leitheiser, Joan Leitheiser and Jane Winfrey handled all of the registration. Pat Leitheiser is already planning next years event and wants to head it up again. Door Prizes donated by Hook Line & Sinker, Cabellas, Scheels, Mike's Electric, and Shipwreck. Please support these businesses who so generously donate to our organization. Thanks to Shipwreck for hosting the event. Membership is on its way with 60 members so far in a little over a week. I sent out membership forms this year to area busineses and already have two that joined Sioux Valley Energy and Montgomery Furniture. Goal for 2011 is 240 so we are 1/4th of the way there . Barb Ketchem will shortly be starting to sell ads for the directory so if you have any suggestions let her know.
