South Dakota Lakes and Streams has done sediment removal on natural lakes, reservoirs, rivers, and a gravel pit as well shoreline stabilization, and a Geotube project.

South Dakota Lakes and Streams has five hydraulic dredges,

of which, two are swinging cutterhead dredges:

Dredge Henderson on Clear Lake

Dredge Lake Lady on Clear Lake

and two are swinging ladder dredges:

Dredge Restoration in Sioux Falls Gravel Pit

Dredge Muckraker on Lake Faulkton

and one is a mudcat augerhead dredge:

Mudcat on Big Stone Lake, SD (current)

Lake Hanson, SD
Restoration Dredge is moored
on the opposite side of the Lake at the loading ramp.
